Food, Clothes & Essentials
EUKR ASBL provides practical material assistance to people and families facing difficult circumstances in Brussels and Belgium.
Our support includes food, clothing and footwear, hygiene products, essential household items, and other material assistance available through donations from our partners and supporters.
A significant part of our work supports displaced people from Ukraine, while our material assistance is not limited to any particular nationality. We aim to help people according to their needs and the resources available to us.

Material assistance involves much more than the final distribution of donated goods.
EUKR manages the practical chain needed to turn donations into assistance that can reach people who need it:
Collection → Transport & Logistics → Storage → Aid Package Preparation → Distribution at the HUB → Home Delivery
Goods received from partners and donors are collected and transported by the EUKR team, stored and sorted, prepared for distribution, and provided to recipients through our HUB or, where necessary and possible, through home delivery.
Our main centre for the storage, preparation and distribution of material assistance is located at:
EUKR Material Assistance HUB
Digue du Canal 9
1070 Anderlecht, Brussels
The HUB serves as the operational centre of the project. Donations are received and stored there, goods are sorted and prepared, aid packages are assembled, and assistance is distributed to recipients.
This permanent infrastructure allows EUKR to organise material assistance as an ongoing activity rather than as a series of isolated distributions.
Not everyone who needs assistance can travel to our HUB.
When our resources and transport capacity allow, EUKR organises home deliveries of material assistance for people for whom travelling to the HUB is difficult or impossible.
This is particularly relevant for:
– Older people
– People with disabilities
– People with reduced mobility
– People whose health or personal circumstances make travelling difficult
– Other vulnerable recipients who cannot reasonably collect assistance themselves
Home delivery depends on the availability of the EUKR team, volunteers, transport and the requested assistance.
EUKR material assistance is intended for people and families experiencing vulnerability or material hardship.
Recipients may include:
– Displaced persons and refugees
– Families with children
– Older people
– People with disabilities or reduced mobility
– People experiencing financial or material difficulties
– Other people in vulnerable circumstances
Many of the people currently supported by EUKR are displaced persons from Ukraine, reflecting the origins and community of our organisation. However, the project is based on vulnerability and practical need rather than nationality alone.
If you need material assistance, contact the EUKR team by e-mail:

Please briefly describe your situation and the type of assistance you are looking for.
Our team will review the request and the resources currently available and will let you know whether assistance can be provided and how it can be collected or delivered.
Submitting a request does not guarantee that assistance will be available. The type and quantity of goods we can provide depend on current stocks, incoming donations, operational capacity and the needs of other recipients.
Our material assistance activities are carried out predominantly with the help of volunteers.
Volunteers support different parts of the operation, including:
Material Assistance
Supporting the day-to-day organisation of assistance.
Aid Package Preparation
Sorting goods and preparing assistance for recipients.
Distribution at the HUB
Preparing and handing over assistance at our Anderlecht HUB.
Collection & Logistics
Collecting donations, loading and unloading goods, transportation and storage.
Home Deliveries
Bringing assistance to recipients who cannot travel to the HUB.
The work of our volunteers makes it possible to maintain the entire chain from receiving a donation to putting it into the hands of someone who needs it.
