Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels have agreed on a project for a single electronic vignette for passenger cars up to 3.5 tons, including those with foreign license plates.
💶 Estimated cost: from €9 per day or €100 per year (for Euro 4 cars and above). Rates for 10 days, 1 and 2 months are also provided.
📷 How will it be controlled? The vignette will be electronic, tied to the state license plate of the car. The data will be stored in the register, and the presence of payment will be checked by automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras and inspectors.
🇺🇦 Cars with Ukrainian license plates will also fall under these rules.
⚠️ Currently, this is a project that still needs final legislative approval.
